Each year Norway produces between 15 and 20 feature films and over 300 short and documentary films, and Norwegian film production receives about NOK 250 million (£21.5 million or US$ 37.5 million) in subsidies. The capital city Oslo is the main centre of the Norwegian film industry, but regional filming communities many also be found in many other parts of the country.
