Nord-Trøndelag Theatre is a professional theatre company run by the Nord-Trøndelag County Municipality and based at the theatre of the same name in the Stiklestad National Culture Centre. The main aim of the company is to promote both amateur and professional theatre and to develop collaborations between the two. Theatre for children and young adults is an important focus of its work and the theatre fosters contact between schools and cultural offices in each of the municipalities in the county to promote theatre and to create a forum for creativity in an IT-world.
Nord-Trøndelag Theatre is the home base of the professional theatre company of the same name run by Nord-Trøndelag County Council.
