Between them the Faculties of Choreographic Arts and Music have some 500 students. The Faculty of Choreographic Arts includes Departments of Dance (classical dance, folk dance and masked dance), Theatre (lakhaon bassac, lakhaon yike and lakhaon niyeai) and Circus Arts. Dance and Theatre have been taught since 1965, initially at the city-centre campus, then from 1980 at the northern campus and since 2006 at Russei Keo. The Circus Arts programme was launched in 1989 with assistance from Việt Nam and the former Soviet Union. Studies in Dance, Theatre and Circus Arts last for 12 years (two at primary level, four at secondary level and six at tertiary level). The Choreographic Arts Faculty recently completed a Khmer classical dance research and documentation project, funded by the Japan Foundation, and is now seeking funding for further essential research and documentation projects. The Faculty of Music has around 150 students and comprises two Departments – Traditional Music (of both the classical and folkloric traditions) and Western Music (including some orchestral instruments, plus popular instruments such as saxophone and accordion); studies are of the same duration as those in the Choreographic Arts Faculty.
The University's Secondary School of Arts is also based at this campus.
